Be able to apply notes to Credit Memos when they are automatically added to keep track of where they generate from

To clarify, because we have so many clients over-paying each month, it is getting hard for our accountants to keep track of where the credit memos are coming from and if they are valid. We would like to get prompted whenever a credit memo will get added so that we have the opportunity to add notes.
